Born in Trenton, New Jersey to a gospel-singing mother and a minister
father, Kimberly started her career at the age of 5 in her church choir.
She made her professional debut in Philadelphia with “A Different Class” at the
age 8, which led to touring the U.S., the Caribbean, and Asia, performing with such greats
as Chaka Khan, Billy Paul and her godmother, Gloria Gaynor. She lived in Paris for many
years before making her home in Milan. She continues to tour all over Italy and Europe
performing with her band and in concert with other musical groups.
In Italy, she is a regular performer at the Blue Note in Milan, at Gibò in Leuca, at Rio Bò in Gallipoli,
and at Divinae Follie in Bari.
She has also performed at the Carlton in Cannes, the Dorcester in London and at the
Governour’s House in London together with Gloria Gaynor.
Even with her heavy travel schedule, she has just put the finishing touches on her latest
album “Your Love”, that is set to debut in Summer 2006, having already garnered
advance rave reviews.
